Introducing The Hæckels Podcast...* A brief introductory note for brand new and previous listeners! This podcast was previously entitled 'The Blue Mind Podcast'. All existing episodes are available in the archives, and still offer a wonderful listening environment. The aim was always to give an 'evergreen' feel to the podcast, so you should experience that with the older episodes.Welcome to the official Hæckels podcast, constructed entirely in our home here in Margate, on the South East Coast of England.Hæckels underwent a rebranding during the Summer of 2022, known as 'Hæckels 2.0', and with that, we decided to refresh the podcast too.Listeners to the previous iteration will have heard from guests directly or tangentially related to what we do here, or certainly within the surrounding vibe.We would like to now turn the microphones around to.. well, all of us! The Blue Mind Podcast Episode 9: Maldives Deep Dive • Welcome to the ninth episode of the Blue Mind podcast by Hæckels. Your listening bubble and audio escape hatch. In this episode, Buddy talks to marine biologist Amelia Cody, who works with Patina Maldives in the area of coral restoration and maintenance. You'll hear everything about the inner workings of what she does, but that's the overall frame. It's a fascinating world, a truly worthwhile path, and a thoroughly interesting process, about which Amelia explains the details and methods involved. The survival and preservation of coral is imperative for all of us, as is the health of the ocean, and this podcast will only go to prove once more how important the wild blue beast that occupies the majority of the world is. Amelia also covers what happens at Patina, a sumptuous and gorgeous resort which works in harmony with the ocean and environment, providing a perfect atmosphere and venue for unwinding but also offering holiday makers a suitable accompaniment to add to this oceanic harmony. Haeckels works with Patina in creating a range of products for various spots in the resort, made in close proximity to further embellish this harmony with sweet motifs and refrains. You can probably tell I'm in a musical mood while I type this... Enjoy, investigate further but mostly, relax into it. Lottie, our resident therapist and meditation guide is here to bring everything back to a place of grounded stillness, so stick around for the wonderful uniquely written meditation which rounds up the episode. • Blue Mind is an audio bubble providing an escape from the outside world.
