Episode 3 focuses on faith. Sonya Thelen Meldahl has a teenage son named Carson, who is battling a rare form of cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. Her deep faith in God says that Carson will beat the disease. In June of 2021, she talked about her faith in this episode of Guardians of Beauty.
