Women's Wrestling Entertainment is a series where Harley R. Pageot and Emily Fear chronicle the history of women in WWE from the very beginning.
As 1988 begins, the entire WWF women's division consists of two feuds: Sensational Sherri vs. Rockin' Robin for the singles title and Jumping Bomb Angels vs. Glamour Girls for the tag titles. Despite this, the six women involved are elevating the work rate and getting over with the fans more and more with every appearance. But not everyone is happy to see the success. One woman in particular would rather watch the entire thing burn than see them move on without her.
