Why Do Things Cost Money? ft. Lauren Simmons

Season 5, Ep. 10

Alright y’all, we made it! As we enter 2022 - striving to stay healthy, create vision boards, or just keep it together, we got a quick question: we know this year may have bent our spirits, but did we break the bank this year too?? That’s right, let's talk about MONEY. From student loans to reparations, we got a lot to go off about, so let’s level up those resolutions with a deep conversation around how we handle money, our relationship with it and building financial freedom for the future. Then, we asked a true money boss, Lauren Simmons, AKA the youngest female trader and only the second Black trader on the New York Stock Exchange, to join the roundtable and help us navigate conversations around money and share her tips to kick-start our financial goals. Hint: You’re gonna need a pen and a paper, 30 days, and maybe a lock on that debit card.
