Charity volunteer Adele Farrell is preparing to scale Morocco’s highest peak to raise money for Carers Trust.
She sets off on the five-day challenge on Wednesday and will tell us why the cause is worth the climb.
And there’s less than a week to go until the 11th annual EY Relay for Children.
Organisers will be here for a final push to get people signed up ahead of Sunday’s event, raising funds for Diabetes Gibraltar.

We spoke to our sports reporter Jose Mari Ruiz live from Malta who told us how are preparations were going.Tomorrow also marks International Day of Older Persons: it's an opportunity to celebrate their contributions and to examine what can be done to help improve the quality of life of our older generations. 888. Ukraine Conflict, Supreme Court, Miss Gibraltar, Nations League

36:27||Ep. 887We'll begin today's episode by catching up with the weekend's sport with Robin Sheppard-Capurro.A local delegation represented Gibraltar at the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Cape Town. The conference is made up of meetings and workshops on subjects including human rights, climate adaptation and disability inclusion. We'll speak to our representatives at the conference, Minister Leslie Bruzon; Gibraltar Parliament Clerk, Phillip Borge McCarthy; and MP Craig Sacarello And we're also looking at health, talking to functional nutrition and eating psychology coach Karen Jacobson. She's recently returned from a Health Optimisation Summit, and we'll be finding out more about the event, as well as touching on biohacking and how it optimises brain and body functions.

885. International Day of Older Persons, Bayside Fire, Clean Up The World, Youth Service
37:31||Ep. 885Next week's International Day of Older Persons is an opportunity for us to take stock of what's on offer in Gibraltar and what can be improved. Marlene Dalli of the Ministry of Equality will be here to look ahead to an event being hosted next Thursday.We'll have the latest on last night's fire at One Bayside Road - no injuries were reported in the blaze which started around 8pm and was put out by the Fire and Rescue Service a little after 10'oclock. Kevin Ruiz was at the scene last night.Over 500 volunteers collected tonnes of rubbish from Gibraltar's streets and shores in this year's Clean Up the World. Janet Howitt of the ESG was here with Head of Bayside, Gaynor Lester, and Head of Bishop Fitzgerald, Liane Parral. Members of the Youth service who also took part in the weekend's clean up will be here, looking back at the clean up and ahead to an upcoming trip to Spain.
884. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
28:38||Ep. 884In today's episode we're discussing chronic pain and pain management.Complex regional pain syndrome, known as CRPS, is a condition that can cause severe, debilitating symptoms, and has a big impact on sufferers' daily lives. It's a rare and poorly understood condition that can affect people of any age, for which there is no cure. We were joined by people affected by CRPS, who told us about their experiences with the condition.

881. Cordoba Agreement 20 Years On, Special Olympics, Sports, Autumn Programme
33:29||Ep. 881It's 20 years to the day since the Cordoba Agreement was finalised, a trilateral agreement between the governments of Spain, the UK and Gibraltar. We'll be joined by former Chief Minister, Sir Peter Caruana, whose government oversaw the negotiations leading to the agreement in 2006.The Special Olympics swimming team is back from competing at the inaugural European Swimming Open. We'll be hearing from the team of swimmers after a successful trip to Malta.We'll also have a roundup of the latest sports news with Robin Sheppard Capurro.And Cultural Services has published its Autumn programme of events.
