The Youth Service’s Mingle group is creating a space for young adults to connect. It provides a safe and welcoming environment for people aged 18 to 30. We spoke to some of the Mingle members in the studio.
The Fine Arts Association is hosting a special visit by Valerie Ringrose, Head of Business Development at Business to Arts Ireland. We'll be meeting Valerie and speaking to some of the local members of the association.
St. Anne's pupils are helping the nautilus project celebrate ten years. We'll be joined by some of the youngsters involved.
Over the last few months we've also been meeting some of this year's Young Enterprise teams. The final of this year's competition takes place this evening.

Students from this year's Young Enterprise Scheme will be telling us about their business plans, including the members from the winning team, My Mind Matters .We’ll also speak to Christina Giuffre, the children's author has launched the third book in her Dear Friend series; "Dear Unique One: Let's Embrace Neurodiversity" was written in collaboration with PossAbilities.And the Amateur Radio Society is celebrating 50 years in Gibraltar. There's an exhibition at John Mackintosh Hall looking back at the history of amateur radio on the Rock, John King and Ronnie Payas will be coming in to tell us more.
806. Autism Awareness, Back to the Classics
38:00||Ep. 806We'll be looking at autism awareness and support in Gibraltar, hearing from families about the importance of diagnosis and understanding. There's a family fun day lined up at Casemates this Sunday, Awesome Autism Awareness, to raise funds for Little Smiles. And over 800 tickets have already been sold for this year’s Back to the Classics at the Bayside Sports Complex. Joining me to look ahead to Friday’s event will be AndriaOlivares, Danny Moreno and Jesse Sampere. They'll even be treating us to some live music.

We're looking ahead to the Classical Music Society's performance of 'The Armed Man, A Mass for Peace'. It's been described as a modern masterpiece and will be performed at the World War Two Tunnels. We'll be discussing the spring migration season with Dr Keith Bensusan from GONHS.We'll also be having all the latest sporting news, including success for the basketball under 14s.A Weightlifting Association is in the process of being set up. It's a condition that affects approximately 5% of pregnant women, we'll be hearing from Aimie Desoisa who was one of them.Local band GibFloyd have composed and produced an original piece of music inspired by the evacuation. We're going to hear a short tease of the song "Who We Are" today and the music video premiers on GBC TV later this evening. The Fire and Rescue Service is issuing advice as the Upper Rock Nature Reserve enters a high-risk season for fires. We'll have the latests porting news ahead of the weekend. And, we'll be discussing Biological Diversity. This year the United Nations is calling for urgent grassroots action at a community level. We'll be joined by members of the horticultural Society

GACO's, Karishma Gracia will join us in the studio to tell us more about “Leading the Conversation: Women, Voice and Impact”.A local artist is making a splash abroad. Nadine Collado returns from exhibiting her work in Paris.And, a new community-focused space designed to support mums and babies is launching soon. From post-partum fitness to sensory mornings, founder Charlotte Bailey will join us in the studio to tell us more.
801. Eastside Project, Macaque Projects, Convent Garden Open Day, Magdalena's Land
36:55||Ep. 801Bathing season officially gets underway this Saturday - with the Eastside project in full swing, we'll look at infrastructural changes, new road systems and potential interruptions to beachgoers. Six Barbary macaques will be fitted with GPS collars as part of ongoing research to support their long-term management. Vet Mark Pizarro, who forms part of Gibraltar's Macaque Management Team will join us.It's the Convent Garden Open Day; with everyone invited to visit on this lovely, sunny Tuesday. We spoke to Claire Hernandez live from the Convent Garden.And, we'll be finding out about independent film Magdalena's Land. We'll be joined by some of the actors and producer of the project.

The charity is shining a spotlight on the support services available to families in the community. And, how long do you think you'd last on water in a cardboard boat?
