Getting Emma Stoned

In our brief return to the series because I was sick and saw this movie on Netflix, I watched Zombieland. I don't know what I expected from this, but it sure met those expectations.

I return to the podcast with a movie that is probably too horny for its own good, but has the only funny cops in media.

I return from my hiatus with a new episode that is just two movies I took notes on awhile ago. This isn't a norm, but I wanted these movies out of my head.

In this episode, we watch Gangster Squad, which is a movie that my dad would probably love a whole lot and adds to the trio of Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling romances.

In this episode, I watched Paper Man, a movie that feels like it was made 20 years before it actually was. It also another entry into the not okay romance films and further evidence that Ryan Reynolds has just always been the way he is.

In this episode, I talk about Woody Allen's Irrational Man, a movie that I do not understand or enjoy.

On this episode I talk about the 2021 film Cruella, a movie I have very strong feelings about and is always dialed up to at least 11.

This week we watch The 2011 movie The Help where I talk a lot about racism and accountability for basically the entire episode. I also revel in a certain trope in media that occurs in the film. I also get very annoyed and as such my language gets a little worse.
