Should I sell my Aussie ETF and just invest in Global Shares?
Australia or the world - where should you be investing?
Jess has both Australian and global ETFs in her portfolio, but lately she’s been seeing more investors question whether Australian shares are worth holding at all…..especially when global markets have been performing so well.
And she’s not the only one wondering. Community member Anand recently shifted his portfolio primarily into a global ETF and wants to know: what are the strongest reasons to still invest in Australia?
Is going all-global a reasonable strategy? Does holding Australian shares actually make you more diversified? And are we overlooking Australia just because it hasn’t performed as well recently?
Ren joins Jess to answer Anand’s question and help her decide whether the Australian ETF in her own portfolio still deserves its place.
Also, you can now follow Jess’s journey & learnings more closely with regular updates on Instagram at getstartedinvesting_
