Generation Peace is a podcast that challenges the way we think about the role young people play in peace and conflict, and that shines a light on how those young people can bring about change. Hosted by Dr Michaelina Jakala, academic lead at the Centre for Peace and Security at Coventry University, each episode focuses on a different country; its history of peace and conflict, how the young people in that country have affected change and what we can learn from them. We hear first hand accounts from Mira Mehmedović and Midhat Kapo, both of whom fought for the Army of the Republic of Bsonia and Herzegovina in the Bosnian war from the age of 17.
