What can help improve people's pensions in the UK?
With an ageing population and higher than ever levels of working age people not in employment, the welfare and pension bills are putting enormous pressure on the nation’s coffers. Millions of people are underfunding their own retirements and hoping that the state pension safety net will remain as it is, in place, for them in 20, 30 or 40 years' time. This is very unlikely. So can international experience and behavioural finance help improve retirement outcomes in the UK? On this podcast episode Dr Seda Peksevim, founder and managing director of Pensión Research and Consulting, discusses the challenges and opportunities.
The FTAdviser Podcast is designed to inform regulated UK advisers on a range of topics, covering investments, pensions, regulation and other key issues.
