CHAOS in Swindon Town!

It’s been all change over Swindon Town. The club, who sit in 22nd in the League Two table have made the decision to part ways with manager Mark Kennedy and replace him with… Ian Holloway? (That’s not a typo btw)

Jordan, Luke and Keiron sit down and discuss the changes in the dugout over at The County Ground, which includes some very strong opinions on the former Premier League manager from Jordan in particular, who had the pleasure (or displeasure, however you judge the criteria), of Holloway recently managing his club, Grimsby Town.

  • The Biggest Team in the League, The Swindon Seals and Midweek Madness

    01:08:28|
In a rare event where all four of the teams that the hosts support won, only Jordan and Jake show up to discuss all of the midweek action that took place in the fourth division. In this episode, we talk about if Port Vale are the real deal, is Lindseyball starting to become a thing at the “biggest club in the league” MK Dons, as well as continued discussions about Mark Kennedy’s future at Swindon following some really bizarre comments, and how Jordan is desperate to buy a referee a pint after another Grimsby win in which they break into the playoff places (that’s mental in itself!) Timestamps: 00:00 - Intro 02:07 - Harrogate 0-1 Port Vale 07:58 - Doncaster 0-1 Bromley 13:06 - Walsall 3-1 Carlisle 20:21 - Gillingham 0-2 Newport 27:55 - MK Dons 2-1 Accrington Stanley 32:48 - Barrow 1-1 Notts County 38:31 - Break 38:41 - AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Morecambe 44:20 - Tranmere 0-1 Grimsby 51:58 - Salford 2-1 Swindon 57:08 - Fleetwood 0-1 Crewe 1:00:38 - Chesterfield 1-1 Colchester 1:03:46 - Cheltenham 1-1 Bradford 1:09:57 - End Track: "Jump", SoundladMusic provided by https://slip.streamDownload / Stream: https://get.slip.streamVisit: thedeck.newsAccrington Stanley - #ASFC AFC Wimbledon - #AFCW Barrow - #WeAreBarrow Bradford City - #BCAFC Bromley - #WeAreBromley Carlisle United - #CUFC Cheltenham Town - #CTFC Chesterfield - #Spireites Colchester United - #ColU Crewe Alexandra - #CreweAlex Doncaster Rovers - #DRFC Fleetwood Town - #OnwardTogether Gillingham - #Gills Grimsby Town - #GTFC Harrogate Town - #ProudToBeTown MK Dons - #MKDons Morecambe - #UTS Newport County - #NCAFC Notts County - #Notts Port Vale - #PVFC Salford City - #WeAreSalford Swindon Town - #STFC Tranmere Rovers - #TRFC Walsall - #Saddlers
  • Ruthless, Toothless…and Swindon

    01:16:45|
Jordan nearly breaks down like Grimsby did in the second half against Walsall. Meanwhile, Luke criticises just about every team that won, taking a particular disliking to Chesterfield. Elsewhere, credit gets given to Port Vale and Bradford but there’s always time to discuss the latest comedy of errors at Swindon.  Timestamps: 00:00 - Intro 02:10 - Port Vale v Fleetwood 08:07 - Swindon v Doncaster 17:24 - Grimsby v Walsall 25:15 - Morecambe v MK Dons 31:10 - Bradford v Gillingham 38:15 - Break 38:25 - Notts County v AFC Wimbledon 44:12 - Bromley v Tranmere 51:05 - Newport v Chesterfield 56:13 - Carlisle v Harrogate 1:02:14 - Accrington Stanley v Barrow 1:07:17 - Colchester v Cheltenham 1:11:31 - Crewe v Salford 1:15:16 - Housekeeping 1:16:46 - End
  • What in the League Two just happened?

    01:24:55|
Jordan, Jake and Luke waited way over an hour than originally scheduled due to Keiron’s appalling university accommodation Wi-Fi but when he did eventually join (via a hotspot in the end), the hosts talked about Darren Moore’s impact as Port Vale go top of the league, Morecambe FINALLY getting that first win under their belts and if Carlisle are in a relegation battle after another defeat, this time, to AFC Wimbledon who returned home following their pitch being destroyed by a flood. A few other things that were also discussed included a Swindon win in which they’re nearly threw away, an eventful contest in the East Midlands, and Jordan getting one over Jake with Grimsby victorious at Salford. 00:00 - George Baldock Tribute02:03 - Main intro 06:07 - MK Dons v Port Vale 12:17 - Gillingham v Accrington Stanley 20:41 - AFC Wimbledon v Carlisle 31:21 - Barrow v Morecambe 37:46 - Chesterfield v Notts County 45:04 - Break 45:14 - Cheltenham v Swindon 54:04 - Salford v Grimsby 1:04:48 - Tranmere v Bradford 1:10:44 - Doncaster v Crewe Alexandra 1:16:45 - Harrogate v Newport 1:23:37 - Goodbyes Track: "Jump", SoundladMusic provided by https://slip.streamDownload / Stream: https://get.slip.streamVisit: thedeck.newsAccrington Stanley - #ASFC AFC Wimbledon - #AFCW Barrow - #WeAreBarrow Bradford City - #BCAFC Bromley - #WeAreBromley Carlisle United - #CUFC Cheltenham Town - #CTFC Chesterfield - #Spireites Colchester United - #ColU Crewe Alexandra - #CreweAlex Doncaster Rovers - #DRFC Fleetwood Town - #OnwardTogether Gillingham - #Gills Grimsby Town - #GTFC Harrogate Town - #ProudToBeTown MK Dons - #MKDons Morecambe - #UTS Newport County - #NCAFC Notts County - #Notts Port Vale - #PVFC Salford City - #WeAreSalford Swindon Town - #STFC Tranmere Rovers - #TRFC Walsall - #Saddlers
  • Right, We Need To Talk About This League Two Club…

    01:18:30|
Jordan and Luke return to take a look at all of the action (not a great deal of it this week, truth be told) that took place on gameweek ten in League Two. The two take a look at impressive victories for Port Vale, Crewe Alexandra and Barrow, is Scott Lindsey starting to really implement his style at MK Dons, a deep talk about Swindon in all areas, and if Colchester are the most infuriating team in the league at the moment. Oh, and Grimsby lost to Doncaster to end their winning run, to the dismay of a certain someone… Timestamps: - 00:00 - Intro - 01:44 - Grimsby v Doncaster - 10:47 - Crewe v Gillingham - 17:32 - Notts County v Port Vale - 24:04 - MK Dons v Tranmere - 31:05 - Accrington Stanley v Morecambe - 38:39 - Break- 38:49 - Swindon v Harrogate - 46:37 - Chesterfield v Walsall - 52:00 - Barrow v Cheltenham - 58:27 - Salford v AFC Wimbledon - 1:02:53 - Colchester v Carlisle - 1:06:57 - Fleetwood v Bromley - 1:11:37 - Bradford v Newport preview - 1:16:30 - Outro - 1:19:00 - End Track: "Jump", SoundladMusic provided by https://slip.streamDownload / Stream: https://get.slip.streamVisit: thedeck.newsAccrington Stanley - #ASFC AFC Wimbledon - #AFCW Barrow - #WeAreBarrow Bradford City - #BCAFC Bromley - #WeAreBromley Carlisle United - #CUFC Cheltenham Town - #CTFC Chesterfield - #Spireites Colchester United - #ColU Crewe Alexandra - #CreweAlex Doncaster Rovers - #DRFC Fleetwood Town - #OnwardTogether Gillingham - #Gills Grimsby Town - #GTFC Harrogate Town - #ProudToBeTown MK Dons - #MKDons Morecambe - #UTS Newport County - #NCAFC Notts County - #Notts Port Vale - #PVFC Salford City - #WeAreSalford Swindon Town - #STFC Tranmere Rovers - #TRFC Walsall - #Saddlers
  • THE Shock Result of League Two So Far?!

    01:17:05|
Jordan (who’s happy), Luke (who’s happy) and Jake (who’s not happy) return to review all the action that took place in League Two on Tuesday night (Gameweek Nine). This episode includes a breakdown on Grimsby’s excellent away victory at table-toppers Gillingham, as well as big wins for MK Dons and Fleetwood Town, is Graham Alexander the man to take Bradford forward or do problems run much deeper at the club, as well as taking a glance at the current league table and how its starting to take shape. • League Two Relegation Now Inevitable!?

    01:15:06|
The latest action from League Two brought by The Deck. Jordan, Luke and Keiron (who’s happy after Newport won, but distraught after his favourite takeaway was recently closed down), return to discuss all of the action in the fourth division over the course of the last week, including if a couple of sides are close to changing their managers, Scott Lindsey’s appointment at MK Dons, the situation regarding AFC Wimbledon’s pitch after turning into a “golf course” (Luke’s words, although he did give a lovely donation to their crowdfunder), alongside reflecting on something Grimsby haven’t done in a long time: Winning away from home, as well as winning back-to-back matches! • New League Two Dark Horses?!

    01:19:59|
Jordan and Luke (returning after missing last week where coincidentally, MK Dons lost 3-0 at AFC Wimbledon) review all the action in League Two over the past weekend, which saw Barrow top the table, Mike Williamson claiming his first victory as the new Carlisle United boss after leaving MK Dons, and Gillingham picking up an impressive three points at Notts County. We also take a look at if there’s more problems for Accrington Stanley after they surrendered a 2-0 lead late on to Port Vale, as well as Walsall’s somewhat unexpected but terrific start, alongside another Grimsby defe… (oh wait, they won!) Timestamps: - 00:00 - Intro - 02:52 - Notts County v Gillingham- 09:08 - MK Dons v Doncaster - 17:11 - Mike Williamson in at Carlisle, followed by Swindon v Carlisle - 28:24 - Accrington v Port Vale - 31:40 - Colchester v Tranmere - 40:14 - ad break - 40:24 - Crewe v Harrogate - 47:49 - Chesterfield v Cheltenham - 53:07 - Salford v Walsall - 57:18 - Barrow v Newport - 1:02:16 - Grimsby v Bromley - 1:09:53 - Bradford v AFC Wimbledon - 1:12:09 - Fleetwood v Morecambe quick preview - 1:19:40 - FinishAccrington Stanley - #ASFC AFC Wimbledon - #AFCW Barrow - #WeAreBarrow Bradford City - #BCAFC Bromley - #WeAreBromley Carlisle United - #CUFC Cheltenham Town - #CTFC Chesterfield - #Spireites Colchester United - #ColU Crewe Alexandra - #CreweAlex Doncaster Rovers - #DRFC Fleetwood Town - #OnwardTogether Gillingham - #Gills Grimsby Town - #GTFC Harrogate Town - #ProudToBeTown MK Dons - #MKDons Morecambe - #UTS Newport County - #NCAFC Notts County - #Notts Port Vale - #PVFC Salford City - #WeAreSalford Swindon Town - #STFC Tranmere Rovers - #TRFC Walsall - #Saddlers
  • David Artell - Life of a Manager, Grimsby Project, Success at Crewe and International Football

    01:07:45|
A battler as a player, a teacher as a manager, and, more importantly, a League Two promotion-winner (the only person in Crewe Alexandra’s history to do it as a player and a manager as well!) In this special episode, Jordan and Jake sit down with Grimsby Town Head Coach David Artell in an exclusive interview, in which he talked about what he saw about the club when taking the job and exactly how far he hopes to take the Mariners, as well as his time at Crewe and how his team progressed year on year whilst developing some of the most exciting academy players in the EFL in recent years that won promotion to League One, as well as a bit about his player career, which included his experiences facing the likes of Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski whilst representing the Gibraltar national team! #gtfc #grimsbytown #crewealex #crewealexandra #leaguetwo
