The cost to Calisto was slight since she was able to reclaim the animi of her followers, resulting in a reset of progress but no real loss. During the 4th Incursion, two different sets of opposing force took up residence in the town (Draco Minora and Fata Equitavit) who pushed the town into rebellion against the incursion from the Sunless. Also present was one of the Novak clan, unsure which party they were there to assist. One party managed to convince Calisto herself to commit her followers once again. Hey mom,I know that you read these descriptions even if nobody else does ;p Today was weird and a bit scary, but not as weird as this painting we had to talk about today. Jacopo del Sellaio's St John the Baptist. Taken piecemeal there are some really cool things about it. I absolutely love the background skyline (it is one of the earliest painted views of Florence!), but the rest of the piece looks like it was a puzzle done by a dozen hands some more talented than others. Apparently subcontracting was always a thing? Like you would be hired to do a portrait but you'd just do the main dude. Then you could hire a guy to do the sky and another to do the crappy mushrooms to fill in space, apparently they call those trees but our cousin sparrow could do those better and she's still finger painting.
