  • 3. Embracing the Pause

    19:08||Season 2025, Ep. 3
    I haven't been able to get much of anything done lately. And it's been kind of stumping me to try to figure out what's the holdup because when I'm ready to work, information and creativity just flow. But for the past two weeks, nothing's been flowing. And then I think I figured it out....so that's why I hopped on here and wanted to share this message, because i feel that there's probably some of you who are going through something similar. Listen in as I talk about doing vs. being and how embracing the pause is sometimes the only path to take. • 2. Finding Focus as an Intuitive Guide and Spiritual Channel

    28:23||Season 2025, Ep. 2
    Finding New Focus as an Intuitive Guide & Spiritual ChannelI'm continuing to bloom in new ways. And I encourage all of you to follow your highest excitement and see what doors open and what magic unfolds for you. I'm following my own highest excitement and bringing my experience as a certified life coach and personal development trainer to the work I do now offering intuitive guidance and channeled readings for clarity and deep personal transformation. I did an intuitive guidance session and reading for a client recently, and I thought I'd share a little bit about how the information comes to and through me. When I do intuitive guidance/spiritual readings for clients, I don't go into the session with any pre-conceived ideas or hopes of providing just the right answer. I trust that whatever comes through is in the highest and best interest of the person seeking guidance. When I start a session, I basically become a blank canvas. And then images and scenes are shown to me and I relay what I'm seeing to the client. It's almost like watching a movie through a soft-focus lens. I share everything I'm seeing and sensing--and oftentimes when something big hits, I get full-body chills. Sometimes the client also experiences these tingles. Everything I channel is from a place of love and light. Every message is wrapped in kindness. What I see and what I feel when I channel is so incredibly soft--yet powerful. Listen in as I share about this gift and journey as an intuitive guide and I hope you'll stay tuned to what I feel is my most authentic self.To connect with me, leave comments or questions, or view my offerings, visit my website at www.kathleendavenport.com  Let's connect!·      Website·      Instagram·      Facebook·      Linkedin

  • 5-Minute Focus: Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

    06:28|
     Dating After 50 was a chapter of ups and downs and a badly broken heart, and I had to take a long timeout after that. I recently put myself back out there and let's just say that I may give up dating altogether and just start collecting cats. I've been talking a lot recently about changing chapters (breaking up with previous versions of yourself, mostly because I'm in the midst of yet another chapter change--one that promises to be really, really good. What makes this one different is that I'm flowing into this one with ease and grace because of the lessons I've learned. Changing chapters doesn't have to be hard when you know how to quickly refocus. Interestingly, I've had chats with many, many people over the past few months who all seem to be changing chapters due to retirement, job loss, career moves, ending of a relationship, a shift in family dynamics, relocating, or simply the desire to change their lives. Some of the changes are by choice, some are by chance. While some chapter changes can be for happy reasons, the downside and common theme of breaking up and changing chapters--or wanting to change chapters--is feeling lost, stuck, alone, and anxious. What can make things even more stressful is that you can have multiple changes occurring at the same time.Tune in to this episode where you'll also be invited to attend a free online Masterclass on this subject. You can register for the class here which will be held on Oct 22, 2024. It means leaving behind the comfort of our old selves (no matter how flawed or frayed), trying on a new identity, being in a new place, and walking an uncertain path. All of this involves a degree of risk--which adds to the anxiety of what is probably an already unsettling time for you. It takes a bit of courage.

    Do you have a tag line or slogan to get you through your day? I have one that gets me through life (Live a Life that Lights You Up), and I have some that get me through the day or the week. Here's a story about one such slogan that became our battle cry during a weekend round of golf. Maybe it'll inspire you to create your own personal anthem or you can borrow ours!I'm cheering for you! To connect with me, leave comments or questions, or schedule a private coaching session, visit my website at www.kathleendavenport.com.You can also view this episode on my YouTube channel, Finding Focus with Kathleen Davenport. Let's connect!One link to all my social media sites: linktr.ee/kathleendavenport
  • 8. Your Legacy: The Sum of the Small

    12:51||Ep. 8
    I was recently asked to give a talk to the local Rotary Club. It was a new term for the president, and she asked if I could speak about "legacy" and the importance of what every single member was doing for the community.In this podcast, I'll share my talk and the key points I wanted to leave with each of the members.I wanted them to know that legacies come in many sizes and shapes.And that the greatest legacy isn't something they leave behind--it's what they leave for the future.Sometimes we think a legacy has to be big and bold, when in reality it can be the sum of the small acts we share and do for others. I hope you'll take a few minutes and gain some new insight about what a legacy is and can be.To connect with me, leave comments or questions, or schedule a private coaching session, visit my website at www.kathleendavenport.com  Let's connect!·      Website·      Instagram·      Facebook·      Linkedin
