Ep 1106: Young Stock Podcast - Sean Durkin KME Agri – farming, engineering, and a passion for machinery

Gary Abbott chats with Sean Durkin, business development manager at KME Agri on all thing’s machinery, engineering as well as his background and education.

Not directly from a farm, Sean grew up close to his uncle’s farm where he developed a passion for agriculture and machinery from a young age. Upon finishing school, Sean went on to study in Dublin, quickly to find out it wasn’t for him. After some reconsideration Sean switched to MTU and never looked back. Straight after graduating, Sean took on a roll within Kerry Mechanical Engineering (KME) which later led to his current role as business development manager when the company established its Agri division which today specialises in the production of slurry handling equipment.

Sean talks about everything from his background, his day to day role within KME Agri, product innovation and the machinery market at current.
