FAITH@WORK FELLOWSHIP (Asia Seminary for Ministry)
Fruit of the Holy Spirit in Community
•
Rev Dr Goh Seng Fong preached from Acts 2 on the fruit of the Holy Spirit in community, emphasizing that Christianity is a living relationship with God and others. The early church modeled steadfast devotion to four pillars—the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayers. He highlighted the Spirit’s work through unity, generosity, and service, warning against hypocrisy and division, and urging believers to build small-group fellowship, live Spirit-filled lives, and let God’s Word transform and heal daily.

Be Being Filled by the Hoy Spirit
01:02:00|Rev Dr Goh Seng Fong taught on being filled with the Holy Spirit—the third Person of the Trinity, heaven’s throne gift sent by the Father and the Son to dwell in believers. The Spirit comforts, teaches, empowers, and glorifies Christ. Believers must die daily to self, yield every faculty to His control, live in holiness, and serve in love. True Spirit-filling brings gratitude, obedience, bold witness, joyful worship, unity, and Christ-like transformation for God’s glory.
Faith of God
58:39|Ps Goh preached “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22), showing faith in action across Asia and at home. Give thanks for God’s protection and open doors. Seek a biblical vision; disciple nationals for nationals. Obey the Great Commission—go, baptize, teach, and build a Christlike community. Risk for Christ; dream big because God is able (Eph 3:20). Refuse comfort, control, and comparison. Persevere—don’t quit when criticized. Walk in the Spirit, set bold goals, and say, “Here am I, Lord; send me.”

Holy Spirit - The Forgotten Person
01:00:25|Ps Goh emphasized the often-forgotten ministry of the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, fully God, to be worshipped alongside the Father and the Son. Recognize Him. Worship Him. Submit to Him. Do not seek to “use” the Spirit for miracles—let Him use us. Allow Him to comfort, indwell, empower, and intercede. Follow His leading. Trust His truth. Receive His love. Live in holiness and bear witness to Christ as the Spirit glorifies Jesus through us.
Little but Faithful (Revelation 3:7-13)
01:02:57|Ps Goh Seng Fong preached from Revelation 3:7–13, reminding us that the church in Philadelphia, though small and weak, remained faithful. Fix our eyes on Christ, the Holy and True One who holds the keys of David. Treasure His Word and never deny His name. Walk boldly through the open doors He alone sets before us, knowing no one can shut them. Endure trials with patience, trusting His authority and presence. Live as His temple, finish our race strong, and receive His promised stability, reward, and eternal recognition in the New Jerusalem.
Send Me (Isaiah 6)
01:02:43|Rev Dr Goh Seng Fong’s sermon on Isaiah 6 urged believers to step out of comfort zones and answer God’s call to serve in missions. Behold the holiness of God and be stirred by His glory. Receive His cleansing and embrace His purpose. Trust His leading into the unknown, follow where He sends, speak the words He gives, and proclaim His life-changing message to a world desperate for hope.
The Golden Calf (Exodus 32-40)
01:29:07|Prof Lim Pin concluded his Bible study on the golden calf, stressing that sin requires atonement through sacrifice, fulfilled in Christ’s blood. Drawing from Exodus 32, he recounted Israel’s idolatry during Moses’ absence, Aaron’s complicity, God’s judgment, and Moses’ intercession. He warned against modern “golden calves” like materialism, pride, and unforgiveness, urging confession, repentance, and righteous living. The Israelites’ journey paralleled life’s trials, showing God’s discipline yet enduring love, and the call to obey, trust, and maintain fellowship to avoid repeating Israel’s rebellion.
