Early Access Wayne Hoffman
I was sitting at a kava bar in Port Charlotte, Florida playing chess with a friend and talking about my show. Since my voice is so loud and carries for miles, Delaney the kavatender overheard me and asked me more about it. After I explained the show in a bit more detail, she told me she has a friend that would be a perfect guest for me. When I asked who, she pulled up youtube on the tv behind the bar and searched for Wayne Hoffman. Wayne is a very successful illusionist and mentalist that has been featured on just about every tv network that exists. He's even been a guest on Ellen Degeneres. Apparently he frequents a different kava bar that Delaney works and and they have developed a friendship through that. I asked her if she could really line up and interview, and she said "for sure". I put her on the spot and asked to to start a group chat on Instagram with the 3 of us asking him right then while we were talking about it. She agreed and after a couple short messages, Wayne graciously agreed to be a guest. A week or so later I found myself giving my I.D. to security at the entrance of a gated community and driving up to his home.
