John was captured and subjected to torture, while the allies continued their attacks on Saddams regime. John was paraded on tv before finally being released 6 weeks later. John has written numerous books about aviation and we speak to him about his latest one "Tornado- In the eye of the storm". John's book tells the story of the Tornado force at war, along with his own story of his war as a Prisoner of War.
