Actress Sarah Paulson, known for her role in Netflixs Monster anthology series, was spotted in Los Angeles, fully transformed as Aileen Wuornos, the notorious serial killer. This marks the first public glimpse of Paulson in the role for the upcoming fourth season. The images show Paulson with striking red hair, dressed in a maroon robe and grey sweatpants, carrying a to-go bag from a bakery chain. Despite sparking humorous speculation, the bag is likely for catering and wont appear in the final cut. Paulson, who accepted the role without seeing a script, will portray Wuornos, who was convicted of six murders in Florida between 1989 and 1990. Wuornos, often dubbed the Damsel of Death, has been the subject of previous adaptations, including a Netflix documentary and the 2003 film Monster. Paulsons portrayal of Wuornos continues the Monster anthologys focus on infamous criminals, following previous seasons that explored the stories of Jeffrey Dahmer, the Menendez brothers, and Ed Gein.
