Netflix Acquires Warner Brothers: A Massive Entertainment Merger
Netflix has announced its acquisition of Warner Brothers, including HBO Max, in a deal valued at over seventy billion dollars. This blockbuster move brings together iconic franchises like Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and Squid Game under one streaming roof. Despite the acquisition, Netflix and HBO Max will continue to operate as separate services for now, with no immediate changes to subscriptions. The deal is expected to take between twelve and eighteen months to close, with Warner Brothers film and television studios, as well as their gaming division, also included.
