It's our first fanfilm! Well, Fan webseries? Fan thing. Me and Manny come in with some HOT TAKES of DECADE OLD REGURGITATED FAN FILM DRAMA about Axanar to start, and who knows? Maybe it will be the year of Axanar? Hopefully we say some interesting stuff while gauging exactly how mean to be to the production of this. If it's good enough for DC Fontana maybe it's good enough for us? Or maybe it wasn't good enough for Fontana and that's why she wrote for them later? Manny's mic is worse than usual here sorry about that he's moving! Forgive him and/or me. Next time we will be watching The Enemy Below, the film that inspired TOS's Balance of Terror!

It's our first ever Grab Barrel (name not approved by 49% shareholder and cohost Manny)! We embark on a collection of tiny smaller trek-adjacent things all in one delectable package. Also, The Man From Earth, which is a full-ass movie but I watched it before outside of the podcast and Manny loves it so hey it got some screentime too. Please listen as Manny becomes vulnerable over the time I didn't like The Man From Earth like 10 years ago. It is my greatest crime as a friend, for your listening pleasure. This episode we watch Chaos On The Bridge, a documentary hosted, written, and directed by our favorite actor ever Jeffrey Combs! Oh, wait, it's William Shatner doing all those things? Well, hmm. I think it's surprisingly good from a direction and editing standpoint and Manny thinks not so surprisingly mid but we can both agree some of these people say some outrageous things. Seriously Mr. Stewart what are you doing?? Next time we are watching some assorted Star Trek parodies from Fresh Prince, Reboot, and Muppet Babies. Talk about a trio.

Hey we're back! We watched two episodes of hit TV Show Mrs. Columbo aka Kate Columbo aka Kate the Detective aka Kate Loves a Mystery and we can sort of see why it was not super successful! But you know, Mulgrew is giving it her all and there's some really spectacular puppet scenes in that first one so there's plenty of us to discuss. Also Manny insisted I watch some Captain Simian so we did that too I suppose. I should really watch planet of the apes one of these days. Next episode we are going on a "Shatfest" and watching Chaos on the Bridge, a documentary about TNG's early season writing.

It's the first episode! I'm very exciting to be podcasting with Manny again about the wide world of things adjacent to Star Trek. For those of you unaware, we had previously done a podcast called "Do You Remember Robotech?" that is now on hiatus but this isn't really a sequel to it or anything. This episode we introduce ourselves, our Star Trek history, and watch what very well might be the biggest Star Trek thing (that's not Star Trek) ever made: Galaxy Quest. Thankfully we both really enjoyed it and have a lot to say about its relationship to the source material, fandom, and how much William Shatner sucks. I also briefly mention the documentary but I don't think it's especially well done or interesting so it's not all that important. I really hope you enjoy!
