Today I’m pulling back the curtain on my own experience with anxiety and how I overcame it with Emotional Intelligence.
From my early years as a shy, anxious kid to the struggles it brought me as a teen and adult — especially when it came to school, confidence, and building my career — I’m sharing it all. Why? Because I know so many of you, whether as parents or individuals, are grappling with anxiety, too.
I explore the different types of anxiety disorders (yes, there’s more than one!) and dig into the problematic thinking patterns that underpin and fuel anxiety. This gives you such a clear window into seeing how an anxious child thinks and perceives the world around them.
