Why Am I So Embarrassed of My Younger Self?
why are we so embarrassed of who we used to be? i used to hate when people would send me old photos of myself. instead of feeling nostalgic, i'd immediately cringe.
in today's episode of ease, i'm looking back at the versions of myself i spent years trying to distance myself from and wondering why i was so embarrassed of someone who was literally just figuring life out. we're talking about wanting to fit in, childhood insecurities, and how some of the things we once wanted to change about ourselves eventually become the things we love most. maybe growing up doesn't have to mean rejecting who we used to be. let's get into it!
