Apple also shared a plan to launch Siri AI in the EU while gradually rolling out this new solution over an 18-month period." The EU digital affairs spokesman Thomas Regnier said: "Apple was simply unable to develop interoperability solutions that meet essential EU privacy and security standards." He wrote on LinkedIn, "But instead of offering a compliant solution, Apple asked to be exempted from its interoperability.”Patrick is here to help us understand the context of the DMA and what it is meant to achieve.
