Drunk Women Solving Crime

DWSC LIVE: With Nina Gilligan

Season 1, Ep. 219
•
Now that Men's Month is over for another year, Taylor, Hannah and Catie are proud to present the fruits of their fantastic tour of live shows around the UK, first-up we head to Liverpool, a city where the inhabitants know how to have a good time!Completing the team of liver birds for this incredible show is the hilarious comedian, Nina Gilligan.Nina is no stranger to law enforcement, even if she can be rather overzealous in her peacekeeping efforts, as strangers and family alike quickly learn. We then look into a crime committed against a star of the silver screen, although it's not like they were able to tell anyone about it. And finally, we get to hear from TWO members of the audience with crimes that need solving, although we're not sure the gang managed to *help*, they surely didn't make it worse.
Ps- The boat trip enjoyed by Taylor on the Mersey WAS a cruise, producer Amanda has the ticket stub to prove it! #justicefortaylor

AND they will be recording LIVE on Zoom for their Patreons on December 15th at 8pm, for access you can join them on.patreon.com/drunkwomensolvingcrime

    We're back in the studio this week and joined by a comedian who brings an international feel to the show, as Ignacio Lopez is of course half Welsh, and so, is able to recount a crime which as well as rocking the Swansea comedy circuit, also displayed Ignacio's inner detective - and the perp's inner idiot. • 475. DWSC LIVE: With Esther Manito

    54:17||Season 2, Ep. 475
    If you were wondering what happened before last week's episode to produce such chaos, today's ep might give some clues, as it's part one of the DWSC Oct residency with the wonderous, Esther Manito! We needed a little bit of extra time for this one, as there were a few microphone gremlins as you might hear in the first few mins, but hopefully that won't detract from the marvellous content provided by our guest, who opened the show with tales of sock thievery at home, and then goes on to work hand in hand with our ever engaging hosts to help solve a predicament which has the men of today and their Victorian counterparts think in tandem. Finally, we hear from a member of the audience who proves maths is even impossible for our Australian cousins!
  • 474. DWSC LIVE: With Matt Richardson

    01:03:40||Season 2, Ep. 474
    If you want box fresh, then look no further than today's ep, which was recorded less than 48 hours before its release at the latest DWSC live show from which most of the people in attendance will no doubt still be nursing sore heads.The party atmosphere was aided and abetted by special guest, Matt Richardson, who opened the show by dishing the dirt on some nasty neighbourhood nocturnal activities.The gang then get into a case which yields some surprising facts from the music industry, and thanks to some self-medication on a long-haul flight, there's more than one zombie in the room!

    In the studio this week is the fantastic comedian, Farah Sharp, who might not have been destined to hold onto her bike, but at least she probably met its new owner. Hello and welcome to the annual DWSC seaside holiday to the glorious Ventnor Fringe on the Isle of Wight! This year, the big top was bursting at the seams for a show that included local royalty in the form of drag and cabaret artiste, Quivers!Quivers kicks things off with a story from their youth, where the (fish) finger of blame is still being pointed 16 years on. The gang then see if they can finally solve a ghostly local legend, either from the 16th or 17th century, or perhaps even the 1700s - no one knows - least of all Hannah. Finally, we hear from a member of the audience, who reports some criminal activity that would have any perp shaking in their boots. The DWSC London Residency is BACK at The Pleasance.You can see Hannah and Taylor, plus their special guests in September, October AND November.Full info and tickets HERE.
  • 469. DWSC LIVE: With Aaron Simmonds

    58:07||Season 2, Ep. 469
    It's the very last episode from the DWSC 2026 tour and what a way to bow out, as our hosts were joined by the hilarious, Aaron Simmonds, a guy who won't let gender stereotypes affect his eyewear choices or give up in the good fight against the real perpetrators of car crime.  The team then head to rural Virginia for an ostentatious escapade in which the perp was well and truly fingered for their misdemeanour - AND a member of the audience shares a playground trauma, which left more than a flesh wound. Thanks SO much to everyone who came to see us while we were on the road, we really hope to be at a town near you again in the near future, but in the meantime, don't forget we're back at our London Residency in September, October and November, details below. The DWSC London Residency is BACK at The Pleasance.You can see Hannah and Taylor, plus their special guests in September, October AND November.Full info and tickets HERE.
