Drop Zone

I’m recording this in the truck. I started by giving her a name, because I don't know who else to talk to. I saw them changing a streetlamp today—a guy just looking at me looking at him. It didn’t feel like maintenance.There was a car following me for a while, but it turned off. Now I’m looking at this red Subaru that’s always outside the laundromat. It doesn't matter what time it is, it’s just there. Like a glitch. I can't stop thinking about that Cave philosophy... the idea that the headlights in my rearview aren't just lights, but meanings I haven't decoded yet. I’m rambling, I know. I just have to get this down in case I can't record a second one.
