Bonjour from France! Dermot Whelan and Pam’s Final Readings

Season 2, Ep. 10

As I type this, Bonjour! A European adventure has commenced for Mark and I but it’s biz as usual for Doireann and Friends. It was a joy to catch up with the legend that is Dermot Whelan for this week’s episode. He is just a hilarious, humble, happy human! I think there is so much to gain from listening to him, and know you’ll love it. The icon that is Pamela Joyce brings us her final Pam Readings of the season. Enjoy x

    43:29||Season 3, Ep. 4
    I’m back in the land of the living (having missed the heatwave, raging) and back with Allison Keating, too. Another Doireann and Friends OG! We talk about the differences between post natal anxiety and post natal depression, “Skinny Tok” and how to navigate sticky sibling conversations. Follow Allison on Instagram - @thepractical.psychologist. For enquiries regarding therapy, you can email bwell.enquiries@gmail.com
  • 3. Holiday musings and a WELL overdue catch up with Carl Mullan

    31:24||Season 3, Ep. 3
    Greetings from Nice! The beauty of being able to pack the microphone, a fantastic perk! Before heading away, I sat down with my great old friend and confidante, Carl Mullan. We chat almost daily via WhatsApp but a catch up face to face was way overdue. We caught up on all that we’ve been up to since working together and Carl got refreshingly candid about life as a parent. I hope you love it.
  • 2. Malice or ignorance? And pivoting & dating with Trisha Lewis

    34:23||Season 3, Ep. 2
    Welcome back. We go again! Thank you for the feedback to last week's episode. It is so good to be podcasting again and your messages make it all the better. This week I am joined by Trisha Lewis - aka @trishastransformation on social media. I just love chatting to her. Every time I meet her, she is even more honest, raw and hilarious than the last time. Her episode of The Laughs of your Life podcast is one of my favourites of all time (if you haven't listened to that and need a HOWL, I highly recommend). Four and a half years on, so much has changed for Trisha, from career leaps to camino triumphs and venturing into the world of dating. I hope you enjoy the chat!
  • 1. We’re back!

    36:00||Season 3, Ep. 1
    Doireann and Friends Season 3…here we go! There’s a whole lot to catch up on since last year. What better person to do it with than my sister and fellow pregnant pal, Ailbhe Garrihy. We chat all about the rollercoaster that is pregnancy, how mad it is to be doing it together, hospital hiccups, newborn ups and downs, the inevitable Mom guilt and so much more.

  • 12. Season Finale with my Mom

    30:21||Season 2, Ep. 12
    It's the Season 2 Finale! Thank you, sincerely, for all of the love this season. It means so much. I thought it would be nice to wrap it up with a chat with my Mom, Clare. We had the loveliest trip to Spain recently and I managed to twist her arm into coming back on the podcast (she was a nervous wreck last year!). I hope you enjoy. Catch you when The Laughs Of Your Life returns this September!
  • 11. Gaufres are my heaven, an Allison Keating double episode and one last Doireann and Foes

    25:25||Season 2, Ep. 11
    Doireann and Friends listeners! You have connected hugely with Allison Keating and so this week, she answers two listener questions. Aisling Bonner is back with our final Doireann and Foes of the season. Enjoy!
  • 9. Stanley cups, Samanatha Barry and Paul Mescal’s Gladiator

    39:13||Season 2, Ep. 9
    We’re 3/4s of the way there! HOW?! This season is flying which can only be a good sign. On this week’s episode I chat about the 3 things that drove me mad this week. I know, a Monday rant is a negative start but I needed this vent! The fabulous Samantha Barry joins me to update me on all things Glamour (yes, a capital G) in NYC including her apartment purchase and her Met Gala insider info. Aisling Bonner is back and calls for an Emergency General Meeting, as only she could. Enjoy!
