We are in some extraordinary times in DOF as the organisation´s restructuring phase is coming to an end. In this episode CFO Hilde Drønen joins the podcast and she shares her insights and experience with us, in conversation with Marianne Møgster. What is it like to be young in DOF? During difficult times in the industry, we have continued with our trainee programs in DOF, because we have a big focus on retaining and attracting the right people. We need to retain the good people we have on board, and to attract future employees to our organization. This is the topic for today´s episode.

We take you on board Skandi Skansen, one of the two vessels at Gulen assembly site, where the wind turbines headed for the Hywind Tampen floating wind farm will be assembled. We hear from Roger Storebø, the captain of Skandi Skansen, and the marine operations manager Rune Nilsen, as well as the shift supervisor Gary Bruce, who give us an insight into the work that goes into this huge task. Marianne is then joined by Camilla and Narve in studio, to talk about the safety aspect, which is our highest priority when working on these projects.

In the second episode of DOF talks, we take a closer look at the dimensions of this project, where giant concrete structures are assembled and prepared for towing to sea. How big are the finished wind turbines, and what goes into completing this enormous construction. Marianne Møgster talks to project manager Fredrik von der Fehr and Jan Kristian Haukeland as we move closer to the big tow to sea.
