Andy is a highly respected Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen whose career path took a fascinating, "squiggly" turn - starting with a decade in complex IT infrastructure and networking before pivoting to become a teacher, a leader on device rollout, and an academic. This background gives him a rare 'full-stack' expertise, perfectly blending high-level digital knowledge with pedagogical theory. Stuart is a multi-award-winning educator celebrated for his contributions to STEM education, despite holding no formal STEM background initially! His career trajectory dramatically shifted following a car accident, which prompted him to leave his previous field and pursue teaching. Guided onto the STEM path by an amazing mentor, Stuart now utilises his platform, the YouTube channel "STEM with Mr N," to create educational content that makes STEM accessible to all. His expertise is shared internationally, having presented to teachers across Europe in CPD sessions, and he is a published author, contributing chapters to the Empowering Women in STEM book series, articles to the ASE Primary Journal, and blogs for Twinkl.
