Mike Mullane is an American former NASA astronaut who completed three space missions aboard the space shuttles Discovery and Atlantis in the 1980s, serving as a mission specialist in the first group of space shuttle astronauts. He returned in 1990. Jill Wine-Banks is an American lawyer who was one of the prosecutors during the Watergate scandal, one of the most impactful moments in American history. Her vital contributions to the obstruction of justice trial ultimately led to the downfall of Richard Nixon. Wine-Banks also served as the first female General Counsel of the American Army under President Jimmy Carter, where she played a crucial role in integrating women into the regular US army, among other achievements.
