Well, unless you take and pass all of your state/national board exams first! I had an interesting discussion with a student that I tutor for the national board exams. She stated she did not know she would need to take a board exam when she decided to go to dental hygiene school! After this discussion, I decided I needed to share ALL of the steps that it takes to become a registered dental hygienist in your state.
