Dewing Grain Podcast
311 - Championing Norfolk
In this week’s episode Andrew has the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Associations managing director Mark Nicholas on as his special guest.
They begin by discussing the history of the RNAA and the Royal Norfolk Show.
They then go on to talk about getting the younger generation interested and involved in farming and understanding where their food comes from.
Mark talks about the various projects that the RNAA is offering to help encourage young people to get involved in the farming community.
The hot topic of the moment is the new inheritance tax rules so of course the pair go over what it will mean for agriculture in the UK.
The Norfolk Farming Conference will take place on Tuesday 11th February. We look forward to seeing you there.
The pair discuss the forthcoming Norfolk Food Hall which is set to be open for business in May.
The next podcast walk will take place at midday on December 17th. The What3Words are zone.rinse.detail.
