René Girard, French thinker, literary critic and anthropologist, developed a comprehensive theory of human culture and social relations that is largely based on the concept of the scapegoat mechanism. His ideas seek to understand the underlying causes and effects of human violence and conflict. I use them to analyse the global hatred against Israel.
