Heidi was a classroom teacher in grades K-8 for the HWDSB for many years where she engaged students in innovative inquiry and project-based learning experiences focused on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. She is an advocate for student voice and agency. Heidi was seconded to the Ontario Ministry of Education supporting school board innovation research projects and integration of the Global Competencies through the Technology and Learning Fund.
