Fear Thy Neighbor
You Kill Mine, I Kill Yours
Residing for many years in Slanesville, West Virginia, the Atkins family is thrilled to welcome the Voit family to the area when they move in next door. The neighbors, including their teenage children, get along great and socialize frequently. When the Atkins family dog is injured, the Voits even lend them money for the vet bills. But when the Voits get a dog of their own, and one of the Atkins’ goats is found dead, patriarch Ray Atkins contends the Voits’ dog is the culprit. The Voits hotly deny it. Later, a shot rings out in the middle of the night and the Voit pet goes missing. Howls of accusations and denial fly across property lines. A war between households has begun, and it won’t end until heinous crimes against more animals are committed and guns are drawn to settle the conflict once and for all.
