74. 74. The Thing in Grafton Woods
34:28||Ep. 74A late-night rail station encounter drags the dying town of Grafton into a nightmare buried beneath its woods for decades. What begins as a creature feature slowly unravels into something far worse. This story was inspired by the music of AI artist Promptgenix, particularly the album Gravel Road Grooves. I got unsurprisingly hooked on the atmosphere of those tracks and started wondering how much control these artists really have over AI-generated music in the first place. It’s an interesting subject. People have strong opinions on AI art, and I’m just...kind of indifferent. Either way, the music absolutely helped shape the mood of this story and a couple others. Honestly, a song isn’t even the strangest place I’ve pulled inspiration from.
73. 73. Mural
32:58||Ep. 73Every night after work, Dan Green walks the same route home beneath the Franklin overpass. One evening he finds a grotesque mural covering the concrete wall below the bridge. A sprawling mass of twisted anatomy painted in bruised reds and sickly yellows, centered around a strange black sphere that seems to drink in the light around it.Dan has never cared about graffiti before, yet he can’t stop thinking about this mural. What does your mural look like?
72. 72. Paralysis
17:02||Ep. 72It's been a long week and I didn't record a story. Luckily, I can sometimes work miracles. I put together an old, rough first draft for this week's episode. Hope it's fun for you!I would change it, but I'm not going to. I tried some new things with both recording and post-processing for this one. I think it turned out nicely.A few very long stories are coming together and will be on their way soon. BUT FIRST, I need to finish these audiobooks! Deadlines are coming!See ya next week!
71. 71. One Hell of a Ride
35:41||Ep. 71Darren buys his first car so he and his friends can drive out of town to see their favorite band live. He chooses a hearse. It's stylish, elegant, impossible to ignore, and complete with a coffin in the back.I had a blast putting this one together! I changed the ending about three and a half times so I definitely don't know how to feel about it. I do hope y'all enjoy it!As always, Thank you

23:10|Welcome to Shorties.I figured we’d do something a little different tonight.I pulled together a few of my shorter pieces. And I’ve added one new story in there too.So this is a bit of a variety episode. A sampler.Tonight, you’re going to hear:Hallway.Duke.…and Scarecrow.Three short trips. Three different kinds of wrong.I hope you like them.Thank you,Edward
