Bonus Edition - The One With Jerry and the Encore

Ep. 7

#BlameJerry

Jerry is at it again ...

It's ok, because we always have a plan "B" and this is it.

Enjoy this encore airing of one of our earliest episodes, chosen because this is where we found our groove! This is where we started having fun with podcasting.

P.S. The sound is crap (what the heck did we know about audio production?!), we were still self-conscious while recording, and we were still playing it relatively "safe" at this point in our podcasting lives. You can be sure, though, that this was the episode/moment in time where we decided we are just going to do this thing and have a lot of fun with it!

Information for the Episode:

Dont forget . . . Ask a Daemon! It has to be a voicemail, a Speakpipe, or a voice memo. Rules as follows:

  • No, you can't get out of this by writing an email! We want to hear your voices! Do via Speakpipe, call us on voicemail (360) 519-7836, or email us your voice memo to DaemonsDiscuss (one word) at gmail (dot) com.
  • Keep your message short and tight - between 1 and 3 minutes, please! Val has enough of a time editing the three of us (as evidenced by this episode -- it's an adventure!).
  • Give us your name and where you are located -- just your first name is perfectly fine!
  • Ask us anything, or give us your All Souls story (how did you come to the books/TV show)
  • Deadline: 20 October 2018

  • Our episode titles are a loving tribute to the show "Friends" just 'cause we love Friends and - let's face it - it's easier! Here's how one of the show creators explains their reasoning:

Jeff Greenstein: "When Marta & David & Jeff & I did 'Dream On', we used to spend a lot of time thinking about titles, because they were on-screen at the top of each episode. On "Friends", we decided that was a waste of time. We figured, why not name each episode after the thing that people will ostensibly be talking about around the water-cooler the next day?"

TBOL ch 7It's Sol in Leo! We're back in Madison, but things aren't quite correct. Matthew's moody, Sarah's broody, and it seems it's up to Diana to get this place back into working order. We meet the locals (witches) at the Cost Cutter, and Smitty at the Post Office! This a short chapter, but it starts us on the path to the larger things to come.See full show notes: go.DaemonsDiscuss.com/75Join us on Patreon (as little as $2 monthly will gain you access to extra episodes + different level incentives for those who join at higher tiers!)A Discovery of Witches TV News info (Continually updated; scenes, sets, trailer video, official photographs, casting + more)Become a Discusser (contact info located there as well)Email us directly: DaemonsDiscuss@gmail.comCall & Leave a voicemail! 1 (360) 519-7836or hit us up on SpeakPipeOur Podcast Page: DaemonsDiscuss.comOur Main Site: DaemonsDomain.com Social Media: Twitter - @DaemonsDiscuss, Facebook - Daemons Discuss & Instagram - @daemonsdiscussTo join our private, listener-only Facebook group, apply here: Join Daemonic Discussers The "word" is "F*cking Firedrake"To see/hear all of our chapter reviews, check out this list: Chapter Review EpisodesTV show reviews? The One With the Remote Guest

00Ep. 74
TBOL ch 6It's time for a formal dinner! Fun, right? Let's answer this question as Lady Daemons: "Nah, Bruh." Eventually, we get to a calm period when people were able to break bread without killing each other, and that's nice -- until the ultimate party-crasher dialed it in. Yikes. In typical fashion -- when this book is concerned -- this episode is packed! So prepare for a long ride in the wagon. We will stop for pee-breaks, but pack snacks!See full show notes: go.DaemonsDiscuss.com/74Join us on Patreon (as little as $2 monthly will gain you access to extra episodes + different level incentives for those who join at higher tiers!)A Discovery of Witches TV News info (Continually updated; scenes, sets, trailer video, official photographs, casting + more)Become a Discusser (contact info located there as well)Email us directly: DaemonsDiscuss@gmail.comCall & Leave a voicemail!
