Chris Sidwells

Chris is a freelance cycling journalist and writer, with thousands of articles in newspapers, magazines and websites across the globe. He’s written 21 books, many published in different languages, on all aspects of cycling. Cycling Legends is his latest project, a cycling media business that publishes illustrated and standard books, promotes cycling events and comes to your ears as this podcast.

Gary Fairley

Once described - mistakenly - by Miranda Sawyer in the Observer as a “born-again, mid-life cyclist, not obsessive”, Gary is a mountain biker who turned to the Dark Side and never quite returned. Between 2010 and 2014 he co-hosted the Velo Club Don Logan Cycling Podcast and now referees our fortnightly Feed Zone as well as hosting the popular Saturday Supplement.

David Stanley

David Stanley, a native of Flint, Michigan, spent the 1970s tearing up the streets on his Sears Free Spirit. When he first swung a leg over a rented track bike in 1979 at a portable velodrome, he had no idea where that moment would lead. He certainly never imagined becoming part of the Cycling Legends family! Since publishing his first cycling article in 1986, David has seen far more of his freelance work in print than he ever saw race wins—though he’d probably say the writing victories mean more. Maybe. Maybe not. He writes regularly for Bike Race Info.com.
