At the end of unpacking the book of Genesis, we are now at a place to ask what all of this means to 21st-century ears. What is the message we are meant to walk away with as we continue in the biblical story?

The story of Joseph in Genesis 37-50 shows us what it means to maintain trust in God even in the face of terrible injustice. Join us as we walk through Joseph’s story and talk through its implications for us as followers of Jesus today.

Genesis Chapters 27-33 are six action-packed chapters through which the nation of Israel derived its name. And it’s through that story that Jesus chooses to challenge the nation of Israel.

The Bible, particularly the OT, contains passages that can be difficult to interpret. Among them is the command for Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, found in Genesis 22. What did the Lord mean by this? Why did he command it? And why didn't Abraham protest? Join us as we wrestle through this challenging text and learn what it has to say about the character of God and its connection to the good news of the gospel.

God’s promises come with faith on the part of Abraham and Sarah, and on ours—despite the odds, in the face of adversity, and in the midst of waiting.

God moved Abram to the Promised Land for a reason; he was working out his story of redemption in a land that granted access for the rest of the world to see. The land was meant to point out what the Lord will do to restore and redeem.

Genesis 10 & 11 presents us with a list of Noah’s descendants and the geographical territories they occupied, but how is that connected to the Lord’s actions at the tower in Babel? Join us as we explore this and other questions as we talk through these important chapters together.
