The morning of 31st December 2001, a suburb of Tokyo called Setagaya is horrified when the bodies of the Miyazawa family - parents Yazuko, Mikio, and children 8 year old Niina and 6 year old Rei - are found slaughtered in their own home. The discovery would lead to a twenty year mystery which continues to haunt the Tokyo community.
