Jailed criminal John Gilligan’s tangled love life and unfortunate brush with the law have collided on the Costa Blanca as he becomes desperate for funds to regain his freedom.
Gilligan has been in custody at Fortcalent Prison throughout Christmas, into the New Year, and up to now after a raid on a property where he was staying uncovered pink cocaine.
Now, he has called in his former partner Sharon Oliver, who he has been in a relationship with, to help and the English granny has flown out to Alicante unaware that Gilligan has a new girlfriend.
Nicola speaks with Niall Donald about Gilligan and his life on the Costa.
