Episode 614: Raymond Shorten victims give impact statement at sentence hearing

50-year-old taxi driver Raymond Shorten who targeted vulnerable women on their way home at night will be sentenced later this month for rape.


Today Shorten listened as two victim impact statements were read to a court and a Judge heard that he has already been convicted of other serious sexual offences.


Crime World’s Clodagh Meaney was at the Central Criminal Court to hear the proceedings and today she talks to Nicola about the impact his crimes have had on his victims.
