After their dismal performance in the first test, the hosts needed a good reaction and that's what they got on Day 1 of the 2nd Test. Jon reacts to the opening day alongside Gareth Batty. All rounder Washington Sundar took the headlines as he finished on 49-7, but New Zealand left the test nicely poised as Tim Southee managed to get the big scalp of Rohit Sharma in the final few overs to cap an enthralling day 1.

Neil Manthorp and Cricket Writer & Broadcaster Jarrod Kimber look back at India's eight wicket defeat to New Zealand in Bengaluru, with the Black Caps earning their first Test win in India since 1988. Andrew McKenna recaps a day where New Zealand finally ended their long and miserable 36-year wait for a Test match win on Indian soil. The visitors stunned India in an unprecedented fashion, skittling out the world's best for just 46 runs in their first innings - India's worst home total in test match history. In response, New Zealand put themselves in a commanding lead, spearheaded by a Ravindra century. India fought back well in their second innings and the game was in the balance until a late collapse, leaving New Zealand just 107 runs to chase this morning.
