A Jasprit Bumrah-less India were blown away by the Australian batters on day 3 at the SCG who knocked off the 163 to win at 6 an over. India failed to add any meaningful runs to their overnight score.

Concerns for India as Jasprit Bumrah left the field for a scan on an unknown issue. India dismissed Australia with a lead of 5 on day 2. The visitors went about building their lead navigating the tricky conditions. Rishabh Pant made up for his shot selection at the MCG top scoring with 61. 

Rohit Sharma decided to rest himself for the 5th test. Vice captain Jasprit Bumrah won the toss and decided to bat. The pitch turned out to be full of danger and the Indian batters sustained continuous blows from the Australian bowlers on their way to 185 all out on day one at the SCG.
