Strong Core: Lineman - Astral Grains
In this episode of Strong Core we're joined by Mark Lucey, owner and head brewer at Lineman, to have a chat about Astral Grains, their Foreign Extra Stout.
We chat all about the beer, as well as Mark's reason for brewing it from the outset, and the FES style itself. We also discuss the differences in taste between it being carbonated and served on nitro (and discover there was once a cask of it!!)
We may even have a little surprise announcement at the end of the episode too...
I caught up with Mark in a much busier than anticipated (which was great to see!) L. Mulligan Grocer’s in Stoneybatter, and asked him to introduce himself, and tell us a little bit about Lineman.
As always, a huge thanks to the brilliant Arms That Fit Like Legs for providing the theme music for the podcast! The track is "You Will Go On My First Whistle". Links:
