What can we learn from Africa's response to the pandemic?
At the start of the global pandemic, many predicted that Africa would be severely affected by COVID-19. But several months on, and the continent hasn’t seen the levels of infection and coronavirus-related deaths that were originally expected. Prof Ijeoma Uchegbu (UCL Pharmaceutical Science) and Prof Ibrahim Abubakar (Global Health) join host Vivienne Parry to discuss why this might be, and what we can learn from how the pandemic has affected countries in Africa.
