The Superwoman Effect
This week’s episode is kind of a quick one - just as much for me as it is for you, especially if you have perfectionist tendencies or somewhat of a superwoman identity. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t for a moment doubt that you actually are a superwoman. I have a vague idea of what you do and already I’m impressed. I'd be blown away at what you do if I had a full picture.
When I’m writing and recording this, it’s still pretty fresh and early in 2022. New year. And while there’s still lots of buzz around big plans and playing all out and crushing audacious goals, there’s also an undercurrent of being tired. Just feeling a little fuzzy around the edges. I’ve found it really hard getting back into the swing of things and I love this stuff. I love my clients, I love my work, I love this podcast. But I was still a bit reluctant to fully step back into it.
This episode looks at what creates that feeling and how to avoid it while still feeling like superwoman.
