GETTING DEFENSIVE

Ep. 890
•

The season opener is just two days away as the Senators get set for a Battle of Ontario matchup in Toronto. Ottawa’s offence will once again run through Tim Stützle, but it’s the evolution of his defensive game that has become a major part of his development. After finishing as a plus player for the first time and becoming a key penalty killer, Stützle says he’s learned that producing offence isn’t enough. “You understand that you have to play defence to win games, and all I care about is winning.” We’ll discuss Stützle’s commitment to becoming a complete 200-foot player, what it could mean for his game this season, and get you set for Opening Night in Toronto. And we’re LIVE on location for the third annual Tiree + Canderel Challenge Trivia Night! We’ll have special guests joining the show, plus Ian Mendes will have a trivia question for our live audience — with a prize up for grabs!
