The European General Studies is welcoming you on its conference part of its conference series "Global Europe in the real new millennium. The EG interdisciplinary dialogue on European integration in the post-pandemic world". For this third episode, you will listen here to a discussion between Jonathan WHITE, Professor of Politics at LSE, presents and discuss his work with Christopher BICKERTON, Professor of Modern European Politics at Cambridge and visiting Professor at the College. They exchange views on the topic: "Emergency Europe: patterns and prospects" & present the main results from white’s book “Politics of Last Resort: Governing by Emergency in the European Union” (2019). Le programme d'études européennes générales vous accueille pour un nouvel épisode de son cycle de conférence "Global Europe in the new real millenium", un cycle de conférence de trois ans mis en place par Didier Georgakakis, coordinateur du programme, où des intellectuels européens viennent présenter leur idées et nous éclairer sur le futur de l'Europe dans une ère post-Covid. Pour ce second épisode, nous avons accueilli deux invitées de choix : Laurence Badel, Professeure d'histoire à Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne et Federica Mogherini, rectrice du Collège d'Europe.  Pendant cette conversation intitulée "Diplomatie Tranquille et représentation plurielle", Laurence Badel, autrice d'un livre remarqué et remarquable sur les diplomatie européenne. nous éclairera sur cette histoire longue de la diplomatie en Europe et nous donnera un regard sur son état actuelle.
