Clinton Baptiste's Paranormal Podcast
Season 6 - Episode Thirty Seven
Linda's back from her Lake District getaway, and let me tell you, she had quite the adventure! She found herself in a spooky cottage in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by eerie stories and podcasts - including our very own!
🎶 We've got a special treat for you in this episode - another fantastic busker performance. This time, it's the Beatles' classic, "Eleanor Rigby." Trust me, it's absolutely wonderful.
📞 And guess who decided to drop by? Cilla Black herself! Well, not in person, but she left us a message. Plus, someone's been trying to leave a message for Chandra...any ideas?
Glen Smith has a touching story to share about his mother's funeral. A mysterious bang on the morning of the service led to an unforgettable experience. We've got Glen and his wife Carol on Skype to discuss the spookiness.
Now, we can't help but be a tad skeptical about the stories we find in Take a Break Fate and Fortune. They seem to be after that £150 reward, don't they? 🤨 This time, we've got one about a child walking through walls in a mill worker's house - a portal to another dimension, perhaps?
We've got comedian Jake Lambert from York, and his story will give you chills. Imagine waking up every night to see a figure at the end of your bed... 😱
We also delve into tales of devil worshiping, demonolatry, and, of course, your intriguing problems. Linda offers her sage advice on a particularly touching issue involving the responsibility of caring for an elderly mother.
And that's not all - my sister gave me a call this week, and right after that, Ruth knocked on my door with a couple of surprises that you won't want to miss!
Lastly, we chat with Liam Hickin's, who ran a haunted pub. Spirits, apparitions, and even a ghostly child walking through walls - there's some chilling footage available only for Patreons. If you'd like access please join or try it with a 7-day free trial at www.patreon.com/clintonbaptiste
Stay tuned for this hauntingly good episode, and remember, keep those spooky stories coming our way! 🕷️

01:02:54||Season 8, Ep. 9My spectral spectators, welcome back! 🌙Linda's gone full telly addict this week — obsessed with Married at First Sight Australia... a show I’m convinced was summoned from some kind of chaotic spirit realm. From there, we fall deep into Naked Attraction chat (steady!) and come up with some brilliant new reality TV formats of our own. Believe me, this is why Linda gets paid the big bucks — all £7 an hour of them. Then we chat about my recent trip to Amsterdam... to watch our very own Glowe perform. Turns out, the welcome over there for us Brits these days is... well, frosty. I'll tell you all about it.This week’s spooky contributions come from all over — starting with Tara Burns, who sent in an article about a tarot curse (I’m sure we’ve seen this one before, but the spirits like a repeat). Then a ghostly tale from Kaz Hazelwood… followed by an interview with Tracey Graham about things that go bump in the night. We chat about our upcoming shows too:👻 Sunday Séance at The 100 Club — 7th Sept🎙️ Cheerful Earful Podcast Festival — 19th OctCome see us live! Spirits willing…More chills as we read from Life Saving Spirit in Take A Break Fate & Fortune… and I chat to Archie Orme — that's right, the lad from Glowe’s band — about his very own spooky experience.Plus — a little bonus this week — the trailer for Barry from Watford’s brand new podcast on talkSPORT, including a clip of Barry chatting to Watford legend Troy Deeney. Lovely stuff. With thanks to:Kathrine Boyle, Tara Burns, Kaz Hazelwood, Tracey Graham, Archie Orme, and Barry from WatfordPlus Glowe and Sundown Studios for our play-out music:https://www.instagram.com/sundownstudios__Credits:• Podcast produced by Laurie Peters from Peters-Fox• Share your own spooky stories at clinton@clintonbaptiste.com• Find more Clinton Baptiste merchandise at Ko-fi• Follow Glowe on Instagram at @glowexx• TOUR DATES: www.clintonbaptiste.com8. 54:18||Season 8, Ep. 8Greetings, my spectral spectators!Yes, that’s right—it’s Series 8, Episode 8.This week, I channel my inner news anchor, kicking off the episode with a rundown of the headlines. Expect chaos, confusion, and at least one mention of paranormal parking violations.🧑🍳 Back in the studio, Linda (begrudgingly!) tells us all about retro cooking—dishes like fish, mash and parsley sauce that haven’t seen the light of day since the 80s school dinner tray.Naturally, this opens the floodgates for Clinton’s Retro Food Hour, as we go full Delia meets Derek Acorah.👂 Then we get into it:Whispered Warnings – a woman hears ghostly messages before disaster strikes.Pub Spirits – the classic tale of a haunted local. Grab a pint and prepare for goosebumps.Vicky Leith – who INSISTS her story isn’t spooky. Spoiler: it is. We investigate in two parts, and it gets… tense. The Ghost Called John (and the Mystery of the Parking Space) – possibly the most British haunting ever.🔮 We hit the Problem Pages, tackling paranormal conundrums with the usual spiritual sass.🏛️ I speak to Marie Claire from Ilkley’s Kings Hall, who shares a haunting that might make you think twice before ignoring creaky floorboards.🐞 Then: a story of the Death Watch Beetle (not a goth band—though it should be), and we catch up with Sam Redmond from Factory Live for more strange goings-on.There’s retro nonsense, ghostly warnings, and haunted parking bays... and if that doesn’t tick all the boxes, I’ll eat my ectoplasmic hat.Listening now... if you dare.Clint xWith thanks to:Kathrine Boyle (still not having any of it)Vicky LeithMarie Claire from the Kings Hall, IlkleySam Redmond from Factory Live, Worthing🎙️ Credits & LinksPodcast produced by Laurie Peters from Peters-FoxTour dates & more: www.clintonbaptiste.comMerch & extras: Ko-fiPlay-out music by Glowe: @sundownstudios__Send your spooky stories: clinton@clintonbaptiste.com7. 01:18:35||Season 8, Ep. 7🔮 Series 8 – Episode 7!“Cleaning Back Teeth?!” Yes, apparently that’s my name now. We kick off this week with a clip from the one and only Steve Gardner, who shares a frankly unhinged tale of spiritual miscommunication. ✨🦷Then Linda (who definitely doesn’t believe in ghosts, thank you very much) chats about getting a decent night’s kip, and we talk all things sleep—the snoring, the dreams, and the ghosts that keep you up at night.👻 Then we move into the madness:An email from Alastair StrongA tale of me nearly running something over (not a ghost, don’t worry)Bite-Size Shivers: Unlucky 13 strikes again!Sarah from the Lyceum tells us about Cheryl Baker (yes, that Cheryl!)A singer dreams something strangely prophetic...💭 We dive into problems next:Are there bullies in heaven? What if you're stuck with people… forever? Why some people talk utter sheeeite just to fill the silence (you know who you are).🎭 Then we’re off to Worthing’s Factory LiveChatting to Andy Fox, followed by spooky tales from Sam RedmondOh, and I reveal the trauma of going on a cruise... in disguise 😳⚓🛌 Barry from Watford returns with more ASMR—softly spoken?
