Cine-Lit finally gets around to continuing its look at Crime Cinema in all its many forms. This time we are taking a look at the scourge of the underworld, the champion of deduction Sherlock Holmes. We are focusing on the run of 14 films made between 1939 - 1946 featuring Basil Rathbone as the Great Detective and Nigel Bruce as Dr John Watson.
